Description of Training Session 1

Welcome to YTC D2L Training Session 1. Get an overview of D2L, our new learning management system which is replacing WebCT. This session is offered 7 times. The dates and times are listed as separate entries below. Click on the date/time that you wish to attend and add a comment that is your name. Because there are only 30 computers in the room, please do not add your name if there are already 30 comments to that time slot.

We will begin working with your course content. You will need to bring some files on a flash drive or put files in your shared folder.


D2L Training Session 1 – Content Homework

Use the following link to access Atomic Learning videos for D2L training videos. You do not need a password if you are on campus. If you plan on viewing the videos from home, please call or e-mail Ginger Dewey or Lori Ochsner for the password and username. You can view as many of these videos as you wish, but please view the videos listed in the table before your training session. You may want to bookmark the Atomic Learning website for future reference as you build and organize your D2L courses.

Key in D2L content in the Search box and click Go.
Click on the down arrow in the Key # column to put the videos in numeric order.
Select and view each video.
